A Furry Visitor

This sweet opossum visited the backyard today and was kind enough to pose for a couple minutes for me.

I don't know if it is male or female, but if it is female it is likely carrying 10 to 15 tiny babies in its pouch.

You are welcome, little opossum, to stay in my yard and eat my slugs.

But please stay out of my trash can and look both ways before you cross the street.
