The "Bandanarama" Skirt

The Sew Weekly
My first creation for The Sew Weekly had to be built around or inspired by an accessory. I'm not a huge accessory person, and I was just going to skip that challenge and work on the one for next week (where you'll get to see my finished corduroy coat!) but then I remembered that I had six 1970s bandanas that Valerie passed on to me.
Those, plus some scrap corduroy and a stash zipper made up this altogether free skirt in about two hours (and it would have been less time if I used my ruffler foot more often and didn't have to re-figure it out every time).
Photos were taken by my dear husband in our old haunt of Bay City, Michigan, on a cold and windy morning.

That is fun!
